Privacy policy
How crkayes.com and my apps handle your information. The short version is that I collect as little as possible and never sell it.

Who is responsible
crkayes.com and its apps are run by me, Kayes. For anything about your data, email kayes@crkayes.com.
The website
No tracking
crkayes.com has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking tools, and it doesn't set cookies for visitors. Its fonts and images are served from crkayes.com itself, so reading a page doesn't load anything from other companies.
Server logs
Like almost every website, the server keeps a short log of requests: your IP address, the address you asked for, the time, and your browser's description of itself. This includes the desktop apps checking for updates. I use these logs only to keep the site working and secure, and they're deleted automatically after 14 days.
Hosting
The site runs on a server I manage. Requests to www.crkayes.com are redirected to crkayes.com by Cloudflare, which processes that request, including your IP address, to deliver it.
If you email me, I use your address and your message only to reply and to help you. My email is hosted by Google. I keep emails for as long as they're useful, and I'll delete yours if you ask.
The apps
Each app has its own privacy policy that says exactly what it stores and sends:
All my free apps follow the same rules:
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No advertising, analytics or tracking.
- What you enter stays on your device, unless the app's own policy says otherwise.
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
If you get an app from an app store, that store may collect its own information, such as downloads and crash reports you agree to share. Its own privacy policy covers that.
Children
The site and the apps aren't aimed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal data I hold about you, to correct or delete it, and to object to how I use it. Email me and I'll help. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
I keep server logs because I have a legitimate interest in running a secure website, and I use your email to answer you because you asked me to.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
