The rules for using crkayes.com and the free apps I make. In short, use them freely, but they come as they are.

Who I am
crkayes.com and the apps listed on it are made and run by me, Kayes. You can reach me at kayes@crkayes.com. In these terms, "I" and "me" mean me, and "you" means anyone using the site or one of my apps.
Using the free apps
The apps on the Apps page are free. None of them has ads, in-app purchases or accounts.
What you can do
- Use the apps for free, at home or at work.
- Install them on as many of your own devices as you like.
- Tell people about them and link to them.
What you can't do
- Sell, rent or charge for the apps, or bundle them into something you sell.
- Change the apps, share changed copies, or pass them off as your own.
- Remove or hide the names, notices or branding in them.
- Use them to break the law or to harm other people or systems.
Where to get them
Download the apps only from crkayes.com or from official app stores. Copies from anywhere else aren't mine and may not be safe.
App stores
If you get an app from an app store, such as the Apple App Store, Google Play or the Microsoft Store, that store's terms apply too. For apps from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement for apps (the Licensed Application End User License Agreement) applies alongside these terms. The stores aren't responsible for my apps or for supporting them; I am.
Updates and availability
I may update an app, change what it does, or stop offering it. The desktop apps check for updates and offer to restart into a new version. I try to keep every app working, but I can't promise that an app will always be available or will work on every device.
Information in the apps
Some apps show information from other sources, like the exchange rates in FXPad. I take care to keep it accurate, but it can be delayed or wrong, and it isn't financial advice. Check an official source before you make a decision that matters.
The website
The writing, images and code on crkayes.com are mine unless a page says otherwise. You're welcome to quote short parts and to link to any page, as long as you credit crkayes.com. Please don't republish whole pages or posts. Names and logos of other companies and products belong to their owners.
No warranty
The site and the apps are provided "as is", without any warranty, as far as the law allows. I don't promise they'll be free of errors or always available.
Liability
As far as the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or the apps, or from not being able to use them, including lost data, profit or business. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, or takes away any rights you have as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site or an app after a change, the updated terms apply.
