GoGetSpace V2

AI-managed business websites, from a conversation to a published site

From an idea to a published website

GoGetSpace has been hosting businesses since 2008, with web hosting, web design and digital marketing. GoGetSpace V2 is a clean rebuild around one idea: a business owner shouldn't need to pick a template, learn a builder or brief a designer to get a good website. They should be able to describe what they do and see the result.

The journey

Before signing up:

  1. The visitor describes their business in plain words, in a private guest session.
  2. Gio, the AI website manager, asks only the follow-up questions that matter.
  3. Gio runs a light check on the visitor's industry. It uses public context only, never their contact details or private facts, and records every source it relies on.
  4. Gio creates one real homepage: a tailored design with an original photo made for that business, not a template.
  5. The visitor refines it in conversation, within limits that keep AI costs under control.

After signing up:

  • Signing up claims the draft. There's no hidden subscription, and no permanent free plan.
  • The customer chooses a package for that website. Orbit comes with a 14-day trial; Nova and Galaxy start paid. Domains are paid separately.
  • The full site is generated, up to eight focused pages to start, and saved as private versions. More pages can be added with Gio or the editor.
  • The customer edits pages, forms, media, SEO and accessibility, then reviews every page.
  • Publishing happens only when they approve it: on a GoGetSpace subdomain, a newly registered domain, or a domain they already own, with DNS and SSL checked first.

One login can manage several websites, each with its own package.

How it's built

GoGetSpace V2 is a TypeScript monorepo with four apps:

  • Web: Next.js for the marketing site, the guest builder and the customer workspace.
  • Admin: a separate Next.js app for staff, with multi-factor sign-in, a full view of each customer, guarded lifecycle actions and an audit trail.
  • API: a NestJS control plane with 22 modules, from guest drafts and research to billing, domains and publication.
  • Worker: a durable background service. Clicking Build saves a request that the worker picks up, so nothing heavy runs in the browser and an API restart never interrupts paid work.

The AI writes constrained website source, and the worker builds it offline in a sandbox. AI requests are routed by difficulty: routine edits use an efficient model and only harder problems reach stronger ones. What each request actually cost is recorded, and kept separate from the credits a customer sees. Uploaded images stay in quarantine until they're scanned and cleaned.

Data lives in PostgreSQL through Drizzle ORM, with 121 tables and 55 migrations, alongside Redis and S3-compatible storage. Stripe handles payments. There are 131 automated test files.

How it's being made

I make the product decisions and an AI coding agent writes the code, one complete, tested slice at a time. Every significant decision is written up as an architecture record (there are 80 so far), and a running project context keeps the locked decisions and a dated change log, so each session starts from the same picture.

The rebuild started on 26 September 2026 and has been running on a staging site since early October. The current gogetspace.com keeps running separately in the meantime, and V2 never touches its data.

What's next
